Enters SEDONA

You enter this magnificent Cathedral of Rock, backdrop to a hundred cowboy westerns, only a few miles away from the Grand Canyon and Williams, nearest town Flagstaff, this dreamy scenery and the site of an Inca city in ancient times, this town was often visited by John Wayne, was a hide-away for Walt Disney, and is now home to an increasing number of disillusioned souls seeking guidance and they get it from
the mountains, something the Navaho and other tribes knew long ago only recently discovered it has so far escaped the crass commercialism of some sites. Spiritual, medicinal tours can be arranged. Avoid the Pink Jeep tours and take the Aquarian Community tours instead with Blue Evening Star. The Incan irrigation ditches are magical, the magnetisms from the rocks stings your hands. There are Positive Vortexes of magnetisms and Negative Vortexes according to tribal lore - a cradle of influences, portals to other words according to some. On the positive side, best vegetarian food ever, on the negative, an eco-terrorist died with a plastic bag over his head in Flagstaff police station that December 2005, a bad end to a bad year.
There are no street lights in Sedona, so that you can better see the stars at night - keep looking!

(Many thanks for Eliza Wyatt with her wonderful photo and article—Editor)
